How God has blessed me with this one simple act of obedience

God tells us that tithing is giving ten percent of our income.

Give and you shall be given unto you.

Tithing is an act of obedience to God and He loves a cheerful giver.

At the beginning of 2020 I started faithfully paying my 10 percent tithes to the church and at first I was kind of worried about our finances because we’ve always struggled financially in our marriage,

But I wanted to contribute and be in obedience to God with what He blessed me with.

So I started February I did just that.

The very first week I gave I noticed we had money left over before our next payday and that never happened before.

This is the only thing God asked us to test Him in with this act of obedience.

So as the months went on we continued to have extra and not living paycheck to paycheck so to speak.

When we got our copy from our 2020 tax return and below is was around the same income from years prior.

We filed our income tax in 2021 and our income increased almost twenty thousand dollars and after we filed our 2022 in increased an extra time thirty-nine thousand.

So God tripled our income in just two years.

I was paying tithes on just my income in 2020 but when faced having to buy a home I asked my wife to start paying her tithes as an act of faith and we were able to come up with all the money required to buy our house.

I don’t believe you should give with the intent of getting.

I believe you need to practice obedience in this and be a cheerful giver and not expect anything in return.

This is my testimony of what God has done in my life and he wants to do it for you as well.
