One of my favorite gifts of the spirit in peace

My whole life I’ve went against the grain, feeling like I was never enough. I was always looking for sinful pleasures to give me a temporary sense of peace

But when I repented of my sins and turned away from it, I received a sense of peace that is unimaginable

You’ll have to experience it to get the idea of what its like

I’m now more content with being by myself knowing I’m soaking in the presence of our Lord all throughout the day

I have no voids in my life

I’ve been made whole and I am content with what God has done this far in my life and I know He’s not through with me yet

Having The Holy Spirit dwell in you gives you hope that things are going to be okay and it lets you experience true freedom in this world

I’ve noticed as soon as I open my eyes up in the morning I have confidence that nothing this world throws at me will take away my peace

The best feeling in the world is when you can soak in this peace and let go of any circumstance that tries to hinder it

My peace has become the “new norm” but I’m still blown away for what that does for me

I don’t feel like everything needs a reaction, so I just simply sit back and observe the situation and choose to react or not

I’m no longer relying on worldly pleasures to give me this sense of peace, but totally giving all the credit to Jesus and the Cross

Peace is a constant state of ease

Jesus can give you the peace and you begin to feel His presence and can truly live a wealthy lifestyle

I’ve come to a place in my life where I’d rather have peace then the noise of this world

Peace allows you to become separated from this worlds problems and simply sit back and take in all that God is doing in your life

I’ve come to notice the more at peace I am the more I’m aware of God and all that He is doing in my life

You become more content being by yourself and you don’t look for other people to give you a sense of companionship

When you become so use to this type of peace you enjoy life and take in every moment you have with friends and loved ones

Peace also causes you to be more in tune with God’s will for your life and waiting on prayers to be answered is a more pleasurable time and the urgency is not that noticable

When we love God He works out everything for our good but we have to be able to let go and let Him orchestrate His plans in His timing

There is no burdens too big for you to lay down at Jesus’s feet, but if we lay them down, we don’t pick them back up but totally give it to Him

So I encourage you today, lay down your burdens and ask God for this incredible gift today.
