How I hear from God

People hear from God in many ways

First off He wants to communicate with us but because of sin I believe that’s what distances us from Him

Through Jesus our sins and forgiven but it’s up to us to repent and turn away from sin and it is possible through the Holy Spirit

I believe God can speak whenever he wants may it be in conviction or love

He can do all things and can use any type of instrument He chooses.

He speaks to some through reading and meditating on His Word others may experience Him through other people and ministers and even some can hear a still small voice

I hear from God in all of these ways

I can pray and at the end of my prayer He’ll start to speak to me it’s not a auditable voice of outside but internally

It as if ifs my own internal dialog but I’m not giving any thoughts to it

At first it was a one sided conversation but now I can ask questions and seek truth in any area of my life

My faith has grown stronger as He has reveled Himself to me and I’m constantly reminded how much stronger I’ll become

Before I could hear him, my mind would wander for something to distract me in order to take my mind off my current situations because I was living in sin

But now I seek time with Him and look forward to my prayer time

All though out the day I’m at peace and I meditate on His last words to me

I have come to realize that I don’t see how I went all my life not living in the state of mind and assurance I have in my faith

I believe God wants to have this type of relationship with all believers and I also believe that is another main reason He sent His Son to die on the cross where we could become more connected to Him through Jesus

I’ve also come to realize I’ve been experience more peace and can see things added to me

My whole life revolves around mine and God’s relationship

I know how it was before Him and I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy

He has delivered me from so much and I love experiencing what He has been doing in my life

I feel as if my journey has just begun and even better things are going to happen moving forward

I don’t say all this to boast on how holy I have become and how great I am

But to hopefully encourage you to experience God in this way

I also believe that God is an infinite God and He is not limited to one thing at a time

Like He still can be apart of your life as He is mine at the same time because He’s with us always

God’s spirit dwells in us so we have access to Him at any given moment

But just take me up on this challenge ask God to speak to you in this way and continue resisting sin and choosing God over sinful desires and get into a consistent prayer life and seek and you will find
