Living a life of obedience

Being obedient to God’s word and becoming sinless is not easy at first.

We all have the flesh that craves sin.

But when we truly repent and ask God to transform us, He gives you strength to overcome sin and we become more like Jesus and you start pleasing God with your obedience.

I have become so immune to sin that it doesn’t bother me anymore and I’ve been truly set free.

Everyone has their own struggles and everyone’s journey is not the same.

For some believers the enemy will attack you to prevent you from experience this life of Christ under God’s grace.

Obedience starts with knowing God’s word and His commandments, but Jesus gave two additional commandments that it becomes impossible to commit any of the ten.

Love your God with all your heart, mind, and soul and love your neighbor as yourself.

We all know God is love and without love everything is meaningless, the bible says now abide faith, hope, and love but the greatest of these is love.

God wants us to live in obedience to Him and it delights Him when He sees His children obeying and turning from sin.

But remember not to put too much pressure on yourself at first to where you give up and think it’s impossible.

For example, Jesus said to look at a woman with lust is the same as actually committing adultery with her.

So it’s very hard to overcome this one commandment.

Don’t stress yourself with being perfect in the sight of the Lord, ask Him to renew your mind and watch Him take away sin totally in your life. and once you’ve overcome that you start to experience more peace and joy.
